throttle body update
was not able to have truck dynoed today. apparently monday is a holiday and the people took a long weekend, but thats ok. just got back from a quick run around town and up and down highway. i notices a little drop off in low rpm torque, but up on the highway my rpms are a little lower and hitting 118 when the truck throttles back is a lot quicker. so there is some pros and cons here. if i went with the 68 i might have been better off. but still happy with the 70.
well because monday is presidents day they took a long weekend. looking for either this friday or sat. 100.00 for three pulls and i get to test and tune with there software.
I'll have to ask Dan if the 69mm will lose any lower range power. Maybe I'll stick with the 68.5mm.
My brother in law is here this weekend. We were comparing trucks, he owns a Tundra with the 4.7L, and he told me that my truck is a lot more responsive than his truck is. The difference is, he hasn't added any aftermarket stuff to it yet. I wonder what the HP/TQ is for his truck. He doesn't know what it is. I've been giving him some advice as to what to add to his truck.

no thats right...its just that he went with a 70 inch which sucks a little too much air for low speeds.
