welcome to the forum.there only a few things available for the newer 4.7. no programmers just intakes and exhaust. jet does make a stage 2 chip for the truck that some of us are using with great success. you will see greater performance if you go internall with the engine. most bolt on stuff only brings a few more horses. i just had my aftermarket throttle body installed. went with the 70 mm. noticed a little loss in low end torque but in the upper ranges some good power. one of the best things to do is change out the 195 thermostat and go with a 180. cooler engine will get more power. headers are a good option but the install time is a killer.. when you get some pics post them

nice stuff! the yellow looks hot on the RTs, a couple of lowering shackles for the rear to level out the truck like on Frenchy's would look nice too. Welcome!

Welcome, whitesnake96, you will find a lot of good people here willing to help you out. There is a limited amount of aftermarket performance stuff out there for our trucks but if you are considering a modified throttle body, look no further than the the fastman www.thefastman.com Forget a tb spacer...worthless.

Welcome to the site. If you're looking for a lot of aftermarket stuff, you can go to www.krcperformance.com and www.socaldakota.com . They both specialize Dakota aftermarket performance, KRC Performance more so, but So Cal Dakota is pretty good too.

thanks again for all the welcomes and links to aftermarket sites.
the first thing will be a new muffler. id do the whole system but i like the tip and the side exit so time for magnaflows magnapack muffler hopefully. do you think the stage 2 chip will make a noticeable difference?
i know that for the real hp you need to start changin cams and tweakin heads etc... but a lil extra punch here and there never hurts
