That is not a supercharger. That is a heater fan with an air filter that somehow got connected to the air intake. That electric POS will most likely not flow enough air to make any additional horsepower. In all likeliness, the restriction that would cause in the intake system would lose you a bunch of horsepower on teh top end.

I dont think that system is capable of producing boost... it takes a lot of air to produce boost. I also know that teh supercharger on my mustang is close to $4,000... So it seems unlikely to be a real power producer...
I can't access ebay from my workcomputer, so I have to ask, is it an electric S/C? I've done some investigating on those. They can produce some boost, but they can't keep up the high rpms for very long without burning up. If you go to some of the websites for them, like e-ram, they show you just how much power they actually have. The one at E-ram shows it hovering under it's own power. They can produce up to 2 or 3 psi for the boost, up to a 5.0 engine. I've thought about getting one, but... no thanks.

I read a post on a rice burner thread about the "turbonater"... it produced less than 1 PSI according to a greddy boost guage. not sure how accurate it is, but if greddy boost guages are accurate. it produces SOME boost. so I guess it produces SOME hp... they had to run it off a second batt though to get anything on the positive side... so its up to you.
greddy is a good brand, I hate electric pos, I use real turbos and always will, in my bird I run 20psi, when I get my next turbo I will be running about 25-30 with alky injection.
