I ordered today, so they should be here next week sometime... I called my unlce. he runs the dealership service department that I got my truck at. He says that the shocks are different for the V6's and V8's. the part numbers are different for quad cabs and club cabs. so mopar has 4 different shocks for these trucks... why do that?

Did your uncle happen to say how the mopar shocks are different?...i.e. valving, dimensions, etc. 4 different shocks is definitely weird. Don't you have you to have the front wheels re-aligned after you install new shocks? Anyone considering upgrading shocks shouldfigure in the $$$ fora front wheel alignment.
