Hey I spent $70 on my K&N and it showed me a definite improvement..Sounds alot better to.Now I need a Fastman and a FLOWY

He got the Chrome Intakes system off of ebay with a K&N filter on the end.

But you know what they say Mopar420, chrome won't get you home buddy!

well whats the word on those chrome intakes? I mean do they work...are they worth savin the $150 and getting one of those or spending the extra money to get the K&N?

Well, I think they would workpretty much the sameif you built your own heat sheild and then wrapped the intake tube in header wrap to keep the heat down. I'm not too sure of the quality of tubing that they use though.

Taking the money you intend to spend on a aftermarket CAI
then adding to it every month
until you have enough money to purchase
ported cylinder heads and ported throttle bodys
is a much better use of the money
if you are after horsepower.

But none of these flow enhancements
will affect fuel economy in typical daily driving.
Don't spend money on air flow improvements seeking that.

Air flow improvements will improve 'brake mean effective fuel consumption'
commonly called BSFC
on full throttle dyno measurements.
This 'devil in the details' is important to understand.

IDK how I'd run it...saying as how I've never installed anything on a car...except new brake pads and a new oil filter...
