dude, I will blow those cliff designs... with my sub amp!!! lol 240RMS is a bit excessive for interiors. I cant even thing of an amp other than a Zapco comp that puts that much to 4 ch....
Any component speaker can handle tons more power than what is rated if you set active crossovers. Set a high enough crossover point... trust me... I've done it tons of times.
agreed, but that statement is conditional. active cross overs or not, you are still limited by amplifier S/N and signal clarity. You cant throw a ton of power at a speaker and have it try to reproduce a bad signal. the right frequency might still have distortion in the signal... (does that make sense?)
