Default pics of v6 3.7l K&N 63 series installed..

Here are the pics of the finished install. The IAT sensor gromit didnt work so I used a grommit off of the stock box, everythings good:

It sounds really good. Deep. I have only heard intakes on my friends 4-cyls and this sounds nothing like that. Much better.

I have yet to get one for my new truck, but my 01' had one and I found myself nailing it just to listen to it. (you may find this causes a slight decline in fuel milage...hehehe) Combine it with a performance muffler and it reallywakes up the truck.

Hey superdak05...did you have trouble with your IAT sensor grommet as well?? I'd really like to make it work right, because im not so sure how well my home made grommet is working. The damn one that came with the kit just doesnt fit right.

I am not sure about MPG yet, as its been about 15 degrees warmer round here the past few days and that could trick me into thinking i got an improvment. However, I have installed a typhoon on a car before and didnt really see much result in power difference or anything. At least with this kit I can actually tell its installed by throttle response and mid to high range rpm. I believe the 9.xhp gain that it claims.
