has anyone changed their green glow dash to leds? any pics or info?

Yeah i had the same question. Ive saw some of those dash overlays like flames or something. Can you get those for the Dodge Dakota?

 

I'm thinking of swapping the guages in an Aspen for my dashboard guages, they have the same dashboard and if I'm correct the Aspen is blue backlit. What I'm planning on dooing is installing overhead LEDs inside the dashboard fixture to give it a new look

I've checked around many sites looking for new guages for the 05-07 Dakotas, and no one will respond to me or even says they offer products for our trucks. It's like everyone is ignoring us. If I find anything i'll come back to this post.

 

Yeah I've been looking in to doing that since before I got my truck when I first heard they were green electroluminesent. My 1999 Chrysler Cirrus I traded in had gauges with black faces and white numbers that lit up orange, and I might say it was very sharp. Any way I've been looking into it for a couple weeks now and I'm havin' the same luck as everyone else...No luck that is.

 

I believe the guages are the same for the Dakota, Durango and Aspen. Of course the dashboard itself is bigger, and shaped differently, but looking at the two they almost look the same for the guages. Let me go checkout the 300
