Stats on the Stage I Jet Chip
I went to http://www.truckinweb.comand I found something interesting about the Stage I chip from Jet Chips, but I can't exactly tell you that I noticed this much of a gain in power, since I didn't do a dyno before and after at the time of installation.
This is based on a 2002 dodge ram with the 4.7L all stock engine:

It's a huge gain in my books, and I'd like to think that I gained about 15 at the wheels.

how did I just miss this? I have a similar post... so sorry MOD Sqaud...
My g-tech says I gained 18, but who knows how accurate it is. it took me an hour to calibrate it for my truck since it was in teh car... pain in the A

I thought you might be interested in this. Pretty good numbers for only having stock intake and exhaust. Wonder what it would have been if they weren't.

well, I am hoping to hit 200 at the wheels with the exhaust, stage 1, intake and 'stat. Kinda doubt it, but maybe. I only need 20 more HP according to the G-tech. exhaust should be about 10, and a highflow cat should be another 4 or 5... My DIY intake says it is around 9. (this is why I question the g-tech... I have one 90degree bend in it, and I know that kills flow big time...)
so will an exhaust system net 20 at the wheels? kinda doubt it.

If you check out that site.... spectreperformance.com, you'll see that they sell the tubing with the different angles. That should help out a bit. Take out the clutch fan and put in the electric. They're suppose to add like 15 more hps. I've been tossing that around for a while myself.
I'd take it to a real dyno machine. It'll give you better insite on your power.

as far as exhaust goes... I have a friend of the fam. that can get me done for the right price. I talked to him on the phone today, and he plans on being home mid-march. He wants me to help him out on the mustang he is building for his son to race at the strip. I told him we would swap work for work...
his kid is like 28 and a total douche. but he is going to be running a 2006 GT that we are going to super charge, straight pipe, chip and strip... it should be quick. I said to do cams, intake manifold, heads, and turbo, but he doesnt want to kill his kid... I kinda do. lol

Must be rich to be able to just buy a 06 Mustang GT. Just to go and do that sort of stuff.... hmmmm, must be nice.

yeah, they have some loot. his kid is a real *****, owns a wheel shop that has never turned a profit.
his dad owns a muffler shop and a body shop. the muffler shop does ok, but the body shop is always slammed. AAA and statefarm use him as a prefered shop. so his winters are always good.
he has his brother running the body shop all the time, and his son runs the exhaust shop in the winter. The wheel shop is open like 2 days a week, so he just closes the exhaust shop those days.
W/E I think his kid is siphoning off a bunch of $$$ oh well.

That's not so cool. I could run one of those shops and turn a profit and have fun doing it. A wheel shop that is only open for two days a week? What the hell?

you have to meet the kid... total tool bag. I have told dave a hundred times I would run the exhaust shop for him when he went to FL, but he feels like he ows it to his kid... I dont get it. I dont want to slam his kid, but he is a piece o crap. lazy and high all the time. not a good idea to leave him running the show.
