Default Seatbelt Sounds

OK, this may be a bit picky, but is anyone having any wierd sounds coming from the plastic in their sear belt. I'm talking up above the door where it mounts. Everytime I lean forward or move slightly, it makes this creeking, cracking noise...Kinda like cheap hard plastic (which I guess it is). It's not cracked anywhere by looking. Just annoying.

Yep, a typical DCX noise. My Caravan did it and both 06 & 07 Daks do it. It starts after a few weeks of use. You can spray it with rubber lube with a tight tube sprayer and do it a little at a time und test it each time until you fine the noise spot. I use to move the belt adjuster slide a notch or so and that would temporary help. The problem is the creaking is right at your left ear level.

Mine makes a creaking noise, but its not really that bad, I just atone it to the material its made out of, besides with the way I listen to the radio, you'd never notice....lol

Yes sound is in my left ear. Drives me crazy. I can't stand rattles, plastic craking, squeeky dashes, etc. Just plain annoying. I'll try the plastic lube thing...

I have to agree, little rattles and creeking in a vehicle suck, glad mine have not started yet
