Jet stage 1, what did you get out of it?
Yeah I definitely wanna see some pics of this stang what year did you say it was? Oh and as far as dream cars, I got two, the stero typical '67 GT 500 and a 71' Hemi Cuda prefferably in Plum Crazy Purple.

Also how do you like carrying on 2-3 convos in the same thread? lol
I tried the K&N cai by itself, I wasn't impressed so I ran basically a Airaid Jr. setup. I bought headers noticed an improvement and stuck the K&N back on, the two really complemented each other. Even my gear head old school chevy small block buddy noticed a big change with this setup. I bought the K&N and headers used on eBay for abouthalf price. I'll have to snag me Jetchip someday on there and give it a try. Right now I'm broke just bought new tires for the Dak, got 40k out of those stock Goodyears.

Dusty, I gained 18 from it... SUPPOSEDLY. I seriously doubt it... it dropped my times a touch. Like I said though, it doesnt really feel as strong as the g-tech said. it has better response, thats all I feel though.
And the extra convos are fun... kinda hard to keep it all sorted out in my head...
So this is what I say on the Stage 1 Jet. It has a gain in throttle response... I dont really feel any more power from the truck, but I have not been running good gas in it either. I was hopefull for an early opening of the track this year... but that is prolly not going to happen now that we have close to a foot of snow.
So no real times untill the weather clears.

I never read the 5 pages here, but I know for the gen2 dak, some people say that JET chips are a waste of money cause the computer learns its way around it. I was just wondering if its the same for the gen3. or the people who have one for the gen2's are just talking a load of crap.
From what I've heard about the computer relearning it is that those people have to reset the ECU every couple of months. Again I'm not sure wheter that is only with gen 2's or gen 3's....I've heard of 2 gen 2 reports and 1 gen 3 report of that...don't remember where....sorry :-(
