Guess what, on my way home I stopped to get fuel and when i restarted the engine, there was no problem and it wanted to take off on my. I also noticed that when I'm in Tow/Haul, it shifts down harder than before, which is great when towing. I'm beginning to like this TB. Brakes seem different too. I wonder if it's part of the whole vacuum thing that I've heard about.

Heidi took it out last night to go tanning. When she got home, I asked her how it was and she said, "Aside from almost getting whiplash when I gave it gas, it was fun! Makes my ride look like a granny's car."

I chuckled and told her we could do most of the samethings to her van if she wanted.

As far as the brakes, they seem stiffer than usual. Someone told me that the brakes use the vacuum or something.

Man, I can't wait until the cams next year.

Yeah, the brake booster uses vacuum to function. If you have a stronger supply of vacuum then they might feel a tad more responsive but I wouldn't think the TB would make that much of a difference in vacuum that you could notice it though.

Doesn't the vacuum run from the tb to the booster? That's why I think it's made my brakes more responsive. I mean, they're more touchy than ever before.

Ok, I've tried to follow this... but it didn't work..

So... adding this TB makes your brakes more responsive? As in the same brakes I'm thinking, the ones that stop your vehicle?

I'm soo lost.

That's what I'm asking. If you look at the TB, there's a black rubber hose that runs from the right side (looking at it) from the top to.... somewhere. I'm assuming that it runs to the brake booster to help with the braking. Since I've put on the TB, my braking is much more responsive, almost like I just did a whole new brake change. Weird, but true.

Does that clear things up for you Frenchy toast?
