I just received my tstat and my tb. Hopefully, if it's raining, I'm going to switch out both and change the oil, rad fluid and maybe the tranny.

If it's not raining, I need to finish my shed in the backyard before my parents get here.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm getting married next weekend?? 7 1/2 days left...

Naw... She's really great about it. I asked her if she minded, and she said since I work hard for my money, and I pay for most of the bills, she doesn't mind. I'll probably wait until next year to put more into it.

 

you do of course no as soon as you say i do. the dak will be hers. honey can i tke the truck here, honey can i take the truck there. brining it back with bald tires and smoke coming from the engine compartment

 

LOL... She likes her mini van better... for some reason. She hasn't been in the Dak since the baby was born.... six weeks ago.

SuperDak, I installed the TB yesterday, and I don't feel that much of a difference. I did what he said to do in the instructions as far as resetting the ECU, but now I have engine light on and I don't feel the difference. What do you have as a suggestion? Should I go back and redo the reset?

Congradulations...uhm... whats a TB? and where did you get ur Tstat?

 

I did check the connections, and I did make sure that all of them were connected. As a matter of fact, I made sure they were all in before I put it into the truck. The only one sensor I missed initially was the IAT, and I put that back in. When I get home today, I'm going to go back and reset the ECU.
