Weight distributing hitch and electric brakes on the trailer should be no problem towing as long as your within your tow rating.

no, it's a class IV hitch attached to the frame...at least the one that you get in the tow package ordered w/the truck.

Cool... thats what I got with the truck... I didnt know they put class 4 hitches on these though. thats freaken sweet.

What's so great about the Class IV hitches...I don't know anything about hitches.

It's designed stronger so that it can hold more weight. Basicallya class IVallows you to tow more than what the truck is rated to tow.

class 4 hitches are rated at like 10,000 pounds or something... maybe its not that high but thats what classes are based on...

Oh ic I bought my truck used and it has the tow prep package...idk...I just keep a hitch cover on it...but its nice to know what it can do.
