oh yeah... it kinda looks a bit strange with those mirrors on a quad cab... I think its the first I have seen with them...
Yeah like Casper said, it's a 2002 Camaro SS with Chrome ZO6 wheels on it though....it's my brothers

And I see Quad Cabs running around here in Southeast Michigan (there are TONS of them) with the smaller mirrors all the time....you get them if you don't have the tow package.

snobrdrdan, what did you do with the old mirrors??? I really like those and would like to swap mine out for the flip down ones. Also, how difficult is the swap??
I had a guy contact me (I posted a "Want To Trade" ad on here) and he sent me his mirrors and then I FedEx'd mine to him. He paid for the shipping and everything (on his company's account...lol)

VERY VERY simple swap........take off/loosen the door panel (4 screws hold it on), unplug the mirror harness, undo three nuts and the mirror is off.

Takes about 10 minutes to do both sides (but I've taken the door panels off MANY times, which makes it easier if you alreadyknow what you're doing)

looks good. how did you deal with the 6"x9"s being heated...are the 5"x7" mirrors heated too or is that disconnected now?

i'm envious of the clean truck. mine hasn't been clean for more than 10 minutes all winter (or so it seems). it's supposed to rain saturday...after that i'm getting it washed...maybe it'll even stay clean for a few days.
Well.....the harness was the same....the 5x7's weren't heated though......they just plugged in and I just lost the heated function.....no big deal though.

I guess the truck stays clean because I don't drive it....lol.....I'm back to driving the Redline again and it's just sitting parked in my parents driveway....only 10,000 miles on it. Can't wait to get rid of that car payment...less than 2 years left (39 month lease)

the mirrors look great! I like the tow package mirrors, much bigger and bolder.

i like the swap...definitely looks good. i don't think i could be w/out the bigger mirrors though....so many times backing the trailer in...it helps to have the little extra width to see.

huh?

if you have the tow pack, your mirrors are 6"x9", and, from your sig, it looks like you do. those are the biggest stock mirrors available on the dakota. the other mirrors are 5"x7" and are a little closer into the body (at least that's the way it looks in the pics) and come if you don't get the tow pack.
