Good deal for sure Rookie and enjoy it...

Paid $35 500 Canadian taxes included for the 2006 SLT/ TRX 4 4.7 HO and got a hell of a deal considering that the pricing on the window was $42 500.

Geezz we pay way more for our vehicles than you guys.

It's also Canadian currency. lol...

Convert to American, and it prolly isn't that much different.

Now that I think of it, at 75% exchange or whatever, a 40,000 truck WOULD be 30,000 American currency.

yeah, it's an st. plain jane. didn't even get floormats. when i built the same truck on dodge's site it came out to almost $27000. the sticker said25488.00.I like the steel wheels cause the're skinnier, and i didn't want any power options because i plan on keeping the truck for as long as i can (less tobreak). it was really hard to find a truck w/ 4 drs, 4x, v8, and 6m.i spoke tothree dealers and searched on line myself and found only two. Ipretty much had to settle for the one they found--lucked out and got the hd suspension, the lsd, and a great color, patriot blue. my fav is the slate, but blue was a close second. very happy--want more power, particularly torque off idle. any suggestions?

How recently did you get this truck, because they just ended there $5,500 cash allowance on 06 Dodge Trucks...and I'm hopin you slid in under that deadline and got the 5,500 cash allowance...and judging from that stickerprice you did get it.

yeah, thats how i got the deal. it was big rebate or 0% apr i took the rebate because i usually pay off early. 6sp + v8 = fun? fahgettaboutit. i'll get some pictures up (with my wifes help; i'm such a bone head), but you already know what the truck looks like: st trim, steelys, patriot blue. can you say generic? It is a bit of a sleeper, though, no one expects a steel wheeled, manual tranny truck to have a v8 lurkingunderhood. i might even strip the v8 badge, is that fair? It's a shame that dodge is too pansy to give usthe HO w/ a manual andthe 3.92 rear. Talk about fun.

you're telling me....wow, that would be fun. they wouldn't even give me the regular V-8 and the manual with the 3.92s....you have to get the 3.55s...not near as much fun there.

sounds like a nice truck...i'd like to see the pics, too.

I got mine this past June for about 18000.. brand new leftover 2005 SLT X-cab 4X4 V-8. It's got the tow package, limited slip, 5 speed automatic, heated mirrors, sport package, yadda yadda yadda.. still got the crappy radio tho.. Can't forget that awesome gas mileage as well.. hehe..
