Excellent find moosehunter. I have to say when I first saw the new dakota I was not to impressed with the new body-style as it had a red body with a painted silver grille. It definitely did not appeal to me. However, these 2 videos showcase some of the other appearance packages available on the new Dak and I like them quite a bit more(with extra love to the sport package). Also, this is the first video/pictures I have seen of the new interior and it seems to be(unfortunately for us) quite a step up from the 05/06/07 interior. Also, it looked like the truck might have had a Nav system, which would be an excellent idea. The thing Dodge has to remember about selling Daks is that most people going to buy a Dak are probably considering more full size trucks than midsize trucks. The dimensions of the dakota almost put it in the full size segment anyway, so offering some of the upper-end options in a full size can attract(somewht) the buyers that were looking at a fullsize trucks. Anyway, I think I have blabbed on enough. Again, great find moose.

 

I think I like the 08. It flows better (from the side). Much need improvement on the front-end.

Mopar420, yes it seems to be a notch higher...

 

It looked higher to me as well...Maybe it is, maybe they got smart and raised it like an inch or 2 to compete with other trucks..i think even the base linke tacoma came with more ground clearance than our trucks...
