hmm, gave me an idea, a removable one? Maybe design one for the dak and create a removable one that could be used when needed.

then you will have to have a removable hole in the side of your truck...or maybe a gas door concept type deal on the front 1/4 pannel

yea ive seen one installed. You need to cut a hole in your sheet metal of your fender and then two holes need to be drilled to bolt it up on the fender. The inside is alot easier, the kit I saw basically would clamp on to your main resonator, that states 4.7L V8, and with an acordian style tube, much like our stock tube, but much longer, you choose the path to get it to the fender. In that case its pretty universal I guess. Could probablly rig it to work but it might look silly. With a CJ the kit makes it stay with the body curves and windsheild area pretty good. It might look like its floatin off the fender on our trucks. Besides the snorkle itself, the rest of it under the hood is very universal.

I just came back to edit this post, it just came to me that there would be no filtration and no filter in the way i described it being hooked up. LoL. In our case, it would take a bit more fabrication.

If you are going to invest in such a high water fording intake
you also need to think about waterproof electric fans that can
be turned off as you ford the water.
The mechanical fans will throw water everwhere in the engine compartment.

Only old mechanical control diesels and good water forders.

If only there was a shot with the hood open we could see what the intake looks like. Maybe a water fording intake isn't the same as a snorkel?
