Front Headrests
So I was trying to get my front headrests out of the seat today... and I wouldn't go past the top notch like all the old headrests used to....like I'm used to...I didn't want to force it and break it...as it is my baby you know...first truck/car I've cared about (that I actually paid for and was new...for the most part)... anyway just wondering if they do come out or if there is a special trick or something.

I have not had any head rest out of a dakota, but if they are like most other head rests, you will have to pinch in the black "clip" thing and pull up at the same time... I would look into it a bit more. You have to pull pretty hard... But stop pulling if they stop moving. (Its hard to explain, but you should feel them giving way... if not, your hitting something...)
Okay I tried the black clip last night before I posted...prolly should of mentioned that...anyway ... are you guys serious about using a hack saw? and what does FTL mean?
When i had to take mine off it took me a while too. Theres a little hole on the side of the the black piece on the top of the seat. You have to stick a needle or paper clip in the hole and you can feel when you push on a release, then with that pressed lift up on the headrest.
No don't use a hacksaw! He's telling you to cut it out, it was a joke, I hope! Anyway, FTL is For The Loss.
