Default Wheel Lock

My wheel lock nut and a set of regular lug nuts were in my glove box. Is there a location in the back storage area set aside for them?

I see nothing in the manual. Thanks, I advance.

bump

There's gotta be a place where these are to be stored. Anyone?

My Touareg has a location next to the spare along with the tools.

Thanks, in advance.

I don't believe security lug nuts are a factory option. Must have been dealer installed. So, maybe contact the dealer to see if they have an accessory for it, or you may have to come up with something yourself.

Appreciate the response. Not a dealer installed option and not on the Citadel wheels. One of the nuts requires a special nut, which I have. Found it in the glove box. Just wondering if there is a better location.

Not on my Citadel besides they have 'cheapo' chrome cladded wheels...there are plenty of storage in the back but not a slot specifically designated for this special security lug socket.

My Acura TSX has a slot for this item in the trunk.

The reason they put it in your glovebox is so that you are able to lock the glovebox so that someone cannot steal the key and steal your wheels. There is no where else in the car that locks to protect it. I'm putting aftermarket wheels that a worth much more than those plastic crap wheels and I like to keep my investment on my car, not sure about you though.

I understand the reason for putting in the glovebox but I figured there would be a slot of something for it. Here's a pic of my 'cheapo' wheels showing the lock.
