Welcome Tim! Just curious, what was your deciding factors to go with your awesome new vehicle?

 

Thanks everyone! What made my decision was the amount of room #1. I'm 6'4" and about 260lbs. #2 was the price. #3 was I only liked the Explorer Sport in Silver and for some reason couldn't find one in my area.

I had a 2002 Explorer XLT Sport and never had a problem with it besides changing the alternator once. I am kind of a Ford guy also. Have owned a couple of Mustangs and currently own a 1993 Mustang Cobra. So that made me lean towards the Explorer more. Honestly there is something about sitting in the Durango R/T that makes me feel like I'm sitting in the right one. I think this truck fits my personality better. I definitely picked the right vehicle.

 

Lol, I'm only 5'11" 200lbs and I couldn't get the seat in the Ford Explorers I test drove to go back far enough to get comfortable. I'm amazed you fit behind the wheel at all. Lol. Definitely not designed for men to drive.

 

Finally got a chance to wash my Durango, I've had it since December but these are the first pictures I've been able to post. 2011 Durango Crew LUX, soon to be visually different...I've got black door handles to install and all chrome will either be painted or "tinted".

just got my new to me 2011 dodge citadel last month









not sure what all i wanna do to it just yet. only options i can tell didnt come with it was towing, hemi, and awd. any suggestions on what to do?

 

Some new stuff added thanks to CMil527 (FlowerMaster & 22'') also tinted tails and added cal covers

 

Would you mind posting a whole pic of that step bumper insert? I'm curious about how that looks.

You need to plastidip the back emblems black. IMHO. I can post pics of mine if they aren't in my photos but it looks good.
