Default Had an Escort radar/laser jammer 9500ci installed in my Citadel

I have seen a few installs on other vehicles via youtube. This I think is the best so far. Consists of rear plate laser shifter, 2 laser shifters in front, radar detector mounted behind grill and control panel located by cup holders

hopefully "they" will be there to bail you out if you get nabbed lol

here's something i found out investigating the possibility of detecting a radar detector.. crazy man...

I was driving home on interstate 95 South bound. My V1 had been going off for a bit. I was not really worried about it. I was going under the posted speed limit. I was also in a bit of traffic as I drove south right about at the Lorton exit. I was in the HOV lanes.

I could not figure out for the life of me who was running radar. As I went for another 2 miles I noticed a white Ford Expedition. It was brand new. It had a few antennas on top of the roof. Some were round disk shape a few inches tall and the others looked like regular antennas.

I turned my V1 off for a few seconds. I then turned it back on. As soon as I turned my V1 on he hit his brakes-SP-. I played this game couple more times, he did not his his brakes again though. I then left it off. He pulled off the road and was driving slow on the shoulder of the HOV lanes.

I had a 3 semi trucks in front of me and a crap load of traffic behind me. I am 100% sure that the SP was trying to get the person with the radar.

As I went past him I put my front windows down. I have limo tint and did not want to give him a reason to think it was me that was ****ing with his day. He had a crap load of gizmo's on his front dash.

My question is if anyone knows? Does the cop that is trying to find your radar detector with there detector have to have his radar on? Well my detector pick up his detector? I was getting a strong KA signal the whole time

In all my years living in this crap *** State I have never come across this before. I am wondering since this was a brand new Police SUV are they going to do this more often?

From one Brother in Blue to another - Please go to another part of Virginia to play with your new truck-
Hey hey you did the right thing.

My story is self-explaining. I was running with my advertised
stealth cobra on a highway in a pack of cars , all faster than me . The rd was on.
I saw a regular car parked on the shoulder , I was the last one of the pack and no alert on the cobra with the vg-2 cloaking.

So this car pulled off very fast and gained on me , it looked like a leo ...feeling ....I shut the cobra jsut in case .
The driver passed my window ...he was a leo , looked at me
, did like nothing. He sped up like an arrow to reach the pack
further. I decided to test his reflex ...fire the cobra ...he slowed down , then I shut the cobra...

The story was over , he disappeared in the dust .
So after running a good 5 minutes , I turned back the cobra on ...immediately after passing an overpass , I looked the
rear mirror ....full cherries coming @ 6 !!! Shut the cobra but
knew I was cooked ...

There he was in my back , pulled over , he quikcly came to
my window , asked for the rd , told him I had no such thing ....ok ok he said '' I know you have one , give it to me or I call a towing and we will find it ''. When I told him again no , he said , go out of the car , which I did , he followed the power cord ...bingo . Told me that he could have given accusation of obstruction since my cobra was hidden in the
back seat ...hum hum

Took almost 20 minutes to have the ticket , he went to his
phantom cruiser and played a lot with the cobra and his vg-2.

I was now poorer of 600 bucks , got rid of this crap , and learned to be more parano , more sceptic about publicity .

Called cobra thereafter to tell my story , replied that the vg-2 had been re-tuned by the rdd supplier and nothing they could do .

Radar/lidar detectors are a scam big time. If LE really wants to tag you for speeding they will they do not have to rely on radar or lidar to do it. I have cut many many tickets to people with radar detectors actively running and they were shocked.

How many tickets could you have paid for what you spent on that thing!?!?!? ha ha

Knock on wood, but so far no tickets since 2001. I found if you do the speed limit (or 5 over usually) cops don't seem to target you as much...
