How deep will she go..
Keep it out of the engine compartment. So, 12 inches should be fine without waves or splashes.
With that said, it is all unproven and untested of course. Quasi-boatesque maneuvers aren't ones that are worked on at the test track.
Better ideas however are to:
A) Evacuate as recommended
B) Never drive through standing water. Hidden dangers are likely to cost you your life.
C) Don't worry about it and let the insurance company handle the D if it comes to that.

we had a flash 1000 year storm several years ago and there were cars, vans, trucks covered by water on jug handles, on ramps, underpasses, places you see everyday and don't realize the grade is far greater than it looks. really opened my eyes to how a 5 ft drop over 100' is almost unnoticeable. be careful, remember there will be downed limbs in that standing water or other hazards. I think i will open my hood tomorrow and measure the height of the air intake, that will be the determining factor on how deep we can forge.
I also have an '11 F150 crewcab 4x4 that is much higher and i have a feeling will be our escape vehicle (god forbid). i am less than 1 mile from the bay at the jersey shore. hoping the fact that we are about 15ft above sea level will keep us from getting flooded out. the tidal surge has me concerned though. we're getting it with a moon too so it will be worse than bad if the storm keeps it's current track. it's been forever since i had to deal with a hurricane like this.. way back in '83 (??).. Good luck!!

Unfortunately I work on an area that is constantly flooded and have taken it through the water several times including this morning. And it handled 5-6 inches no problem.

i have radio controlled cars that can do that lol.. i looked today and if you disconnect the intake at the snorkel pre filter i think we can do 20-24 inches or so. but that would be "OMG OMG OMG OMG".. i think 18" is probably problem free.
