GAS MILEAGE ??? What are you getting?
I haven't hand calculated any trips yet but with 4K on my odometer with a 2011 AWD V6 Crew I am getting over 23MPG on my EVIC. I do mainly 90% highway and keep my speed at the limit or up to 5MPH above. I drive a lot as I am in sales and cover basically from Harrisburg to Trenton and all points in between so I keep it a bit slower than I used to drive just because I am doing about 20-25K miles a year. I don't want to deal with tickets
. My last ticket was a 90 in a 65 with my Hemi Charger that I traded in for my Duragno..lol.

2012 R/T AWD: 1st tank of gas 16.5 mpg including a ~200 mile hwy trip with speeds around 75. Second tank is running about 15 in more mixed driving. Upon the first fill-up, the EVIC said 35 MTE and the pump clicked off at 22.4 gallons. That seems pretty accurate to me. In comparison, my 2010 Acura MID (their EVIC) told me 5 miles to empty when there was still over 2 gallons in the tank with that car getting in the 20s for mpg.
Strange thing about the highway trip - the ECO indicator didn't light hardly at all after 100 miles even though the speeds didn't increase. It seemed to change its behavior after doing one "brief full-throttle acceleration while cruising" which is recommended for break-in per the owners manual. There is nothing in the owners manual that suggests the MDS adjusts how often it tries to go into 4-cyl mode based upon driving style...
I hope I can get closer to what other folks on this thread claim they are getting with their V8s after a couple thousand more miles. With AWD and winter in the Midwest, I suspect I won't get quite as good as the folks in warm climates with RWD....

sadly, even without aggressive driving my 2011 hemi is getting 12.1mpg on city driving. there are just 500 miles on the thing. Really hoping this improves as im used to getting 21.3mpg in my volvo v70.
The D is a lot heavier than a V70, and the V70 had a 5 cyl engine, and was 2WD, so you aren't likely to get close. And I'm not knocking the V70. That's a great car that was even better when they offered the rear jump seat that gave you 7 passenger capacity.
R/T Hemi AWD. In mostly city driving, on my second tank of gas, I got 11.5 mpg on dealer filled regular gas. With 89 octane, I got 12.5 mpg on third tank. On 400 mile trip yesterday, I got 16.7 mpg, almost all highway. The D has around 1,300 miles on it now. All the numbers are the Durango's computer figures.
