Dealer Advertised Lifetime Powertrain Warranty
I have been looking at the 2012 Durango Citadel lately, came across a dealer advertising a complementary lifetime powertrain warranty. Anyone ever hear about something like this before. They are competitive on the vehicle prices just wondering if it is worthwhile.

I took a look at the link you provided. The Lifetime Warranty as advertised is through a aftermarket warranty/service contract company. Don't see what it could hurt if they give it to you although I suspect they are just building the price of the warranty into the vehicle.
If you do go ahead with the purchase just make sure you read the Lifetime Warranty agreement to understand what must be done for you to be covered or reimbursed. On a side note, Lifetime Powertrain Warranty or a Lifetime Maximum Care service contracts are available, on most Chrysler vehicles that are under 3 years old and 36,000 miles and can be purchased at most Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealers or by visiting servicecontracts.chrysler.com. Please remember service contracts are negotiable in price in most states. Further, Chrysler Service Contracts are honored by all Chrysler dealers in the United States without having to pay up front and submit repair bills as happens with many aftermarket contract companies.
