Default Is this a good deal for a 2011 Crew V6 AWD?

Hello all,

Tomorrow morning I will be closing on a 2011 Dodge Durango Crew in Natural Green with AWD and the V6 with the following options..

Customer Preferred Package 26E Rear
DVD Entertainment Center Video
Entertainment System
SiriusXM BackSeat TV w/ 1-Yr TV Subscription
Leather Interior Group
Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats
Heated Front and Second Row Seats Entry
Navigation / Commuter Group
Power Tilt / Telescope Steering Column
Media Center 430N CD/DVD/MP3/HDD/
NAV
Garmin Navigation System
Rain Sensitive Windshield Wipers
SmartBeam Headlamps
Power Sunroof
Flexible Fuel Vehicle

The sticker is $40,655 and we are down to $33,655 with $13,000 for my 2008 fully optioned Charger 5.7 RT/RT.

We think this is a good deal, what say you? . Hopefully by noon tomorrow I will be the proud new owner for a Durango which will compliment our 2008 Grand Caravan. I am a Mopar guy for classic cars (I lust for a 67-69 Dart GTS!) and it apparently has bleed over to todays vehicles.

Tom

The Durango price looks great, but I don't know anything about the value of your Charger. I'd like to know how you like the video entertainment system......I wish they had that on mine when I got it.

Durango price doesn't look bad but the trade on your Charger looks horrible.
Traded my 06 Charger R/T R&T last year, no nav, no sunroof and got $17k.
Traded the wife's 07 Loaded Nitro (lists well below a loaded 08 Charger) in
below avg condition and got $14.5k. I'd look for better deal on your trade.

Agreed! They're ripping you off on the trade unless it has major accidents or high miles. Unless you are dying to get rid of the Charger and absolutely can't wait on the 2011 D I guess go for it.

Otherwise wait a bit, sell the Charger to a private buyer. With the difference made you can offset with a newer 2012 or something. Don't see the rush....

My Charger has 84,500 miles on it. It is a by product of my job (sales).

Get the trade up to $15,000 (counter with 17,000) and sign away!

I got the Durango in the garage so the deal is done. I just noticed I didn't get the owners manual. Is there a 2011 Durango manual online? I want to disable the horn when I lock and remote start the car.

I look forward to learning about my vehicle from you guys. I will take a picture tomorrow, didn't have time today unfortunately.

EDIT: Found the manual online... http://www.dodge.com.eg/en/durango/d...dur-manual.pdf

Your manual is in your glove box.......at the very top......on a very slim shelf. A lot of us missed it, don't feel bad.

congrats on the new durango. i agree, price on the durango was great and the price on your trade wasn't too bad though, for that mileage. hard to value your actual deal when a trade in muddys up the water. they can show you a crappy number for your trade and lower the sale price of the new vehicle to make you think you stole it, or give you the new car for $500 under invoice and a high number for your trade.. Car salesmen.... can't stand that whole business.. as crooked as the day is long.

CONGRATS! I missed the manual in the glove box as well I find the pdf version online is way faster to search by keyword anyway.

Go to your EVIC display and scroll down to settings. Arrow over and uncheck the option 'horn with unlock' or something to that effect. Have fun
