your not even close
I will give you a little info

There is going to be a interface module available estimated 3rd quarter of this year to pair with a major brands aftermarket radio. This interface will allow ALL stock controls to remain the same and give you the option to upgrade the radio. The PAc, Metra Scosche harness as we all know are horrible. THis new one is amazing and the stock 730 I have will be replaced by something so much better.

what do I mean by stock controls
with this unit all SW controls, BT, rear cam everything will work just like stock. Problem in past has been replacing the factory radio with a aftermarket that is so much better and retaining the stock features and getting them to work like stock.
I am telling you this system is going to be awesome.

I have also found some new line converters that will make adding an amp super simple say to replace the sub in the back with something like the JL stealthbox and power it with an aftermarket amp.
So simple you dont have to remove the radio.
I was talking with Phoenix Gold in trying to have them make a amp sub combo for the Durango. They currently make one that we are the only online authorized vendors for on the internet. This is a plug and play setup for the Camaro that will amp all speakers in the car and makes the stock Boston system sound incredible. If they can make one for us for the Durango it will make the stock Alpine system so much better.

I wish I could share more and will as soon as we are allowed to.
Ford is ford harness coming out, GM is second followed by the Chrysler products.

I'll get my R/T back this week with a fully upgraded sound system. I will report back with results and photos for those interested -- Stealthbox, amp, speakers, all running through stock head unit and hidden beneath stock enclosures.

Any update? Very curious as to how low it drops?

Sounds incredible. Totally stealth, so no photos. (The stealthbox fits beneath the stock cover, and the speakers behind the stock grills. Only the sub gain control hints at anything lurking and even that is well placed just beside the cigarette lighter.) The shop spent a lot of time tuning the amp and crossovers and the result is magnificent -- very clean sound, no hissing, no whine. I could not be happier.

To anyone who has installed an aftermarket amp:

Where did you run the power wire? I know the battery is under the front seat, does this seat need to be removed to install the power wire?

Did the other subwoofer, etc have to come out? Can you still get to the jack?

Seat does not have to come out put it all the way forward to get the cover up and out and your negative off. And than all the way back to get to the positive.

Your real question should be about your remote wire, this is where I about ruined my car, good luck.

Jack is in the compartment to the left, I was going to put my amp in this space with double sided velco, sub is under the plastic molding to the right in another plastic molding custom for the sub woofer.

JL appears to have the same set-up amp on the left sub on the right, so your old sub prob has to come out. I bet this box just lifts up so you can get to your jack don't see on the screws on the jl photo.
