Oooooh, very nice! I think your option would be much easier to care for too. Well done sir! And might I add you can't go wrong with Lexani...

can anyone comment on how 22's ride in comparison with stock 20's?

would you consider 22's comfortably acceptable as an everyday wheel?

I have the Lexani R-THREE on order now for my '12 white R/T. They should be arriving the 2nd week of June.

I decided to go with a 20" over the 22" wheels. I do a lot of towing with my Sea Ray that weighs around 5200 lbs dry. I was looking for a nice forged wheel, not cast. I did not want to have any issues with the wheels, been down that road before.

Personally I'd like to go with 22" but would like a wider and taller tire. Anyone know how much clearance we have on the new Durango? I think the stock 20's with 50 series tire leave too much wheel well space but don't like the idea of messing with the suspension to lower it and close the gap.

I wonder if a 22x10 with 275 or 285x45 would still fit?

I'm told taller tires will rub.. 275 or 285-40-22 is the way to go!

The stock 265 50 20 tire is 30.5" in diameter 684 revs per mile
The 285 40 22 is 31.1" 668 revs per mile

This is about 1/2" inch difference in total tire height

I dont think its that big of a noticeable difference myself

The 275 45 22 is 31.8" just so you know what your working with. 656 revs per mile

Is Durang011's lowered? Does anyone have a rear shot of this Durango. I would like to have wider rear tires so that the truck looks more planted to the ground from the rear. The stock tire are just to skinny for my taste and make the truck look top heavy from the rear.

How is the ride different with the 285/40/22's vs stock? I love how nice my stock citadel rides. Do the wider front tires make the truck wonder on the road? I have had issues with this on past vehicles when putting wider tires on the front.

Thanks,
B

DoubleDMods,

if I haven't shared my opinion, I think your Durango looks great. The wheels are perfect on there. Is that all the stock ride height?
