Default Auto Unlock?

I have it selected on my controls, but it does not unlock the doors when I shift into park, like in previous vehicles. I notice that when I open my own door, the others unlock also. Is there a way to have the doors unlock when I go into park, or shortly thereafter?

Thanks

when you have auto unlock turned on, the doors all unlock when you open your door.

That's what I thought. So, I have to open my own door, or press the unlock button to let anyone else out.

Or they can open the door for themselves, which unlocks the door at the same time....

Default Door Locking

My rear passenger door doesn't unlock unless i hit the unlock button or open my door first. My son and wife keep saying I can't get out. I have switched the kid lock back and forth and with the kid lock on you can't get out at all.

I had the same issue so I disabled the auto lock all together. It wasn't an inconvenience until the family tried to exit prior to me.

"SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT" -What if your in an auto accident where your incapacitated. Your family will be trapped.

Not sure, but does the Dodge have the "Unlock on accident" safety feature that unlocks all doors if airbags are deployed? This is something I've seen on other makes.

Not sure? Anyone want to test theirs to see if they have this feature?
