This is true! It would be great if Mopar could put together a decently priced package that could boost the D's to the 390 HP mark. 30 more HP and pretty much the same fuel mileage rating between the two vehicles.

Until someone is able to crack Chrysler’s new encryption codes, we’re pretty much stuck with simple mods like exhaust and CAI’s. Any major mods like Ram intake swaps (which I think a new hood would be needed for clearance), and forced induction will have to wait. Some companies have tried swapping in 2010 PCMs with mixed results. I’ve also heard Superchips has up to eight people working solely on cracking Chrysler’s 2011+ code. Although Hypertech says they have a programmer that can adjust the speedo for gear/tire size changes.
Maybe Mother Mopar will come to an agreement with the aftermarket and release the code or perhaps just come out with a Mopar performance programmer.
