Default Dual exhaust on a V6?

I believe the V8 durango exhaust will bolt right up to the V6 durangos. If they are the same like the new WK2's are. All you would need to do is buy a new lower valance and hanger from mopar. It would look much better than the single outlet the current V6's have, imo.

the dual exhaust on the v6 will not yield any performance gains, if you are going for aesthetics give it a shot and let us know (i dont see why it wouldnt fit), but as far as performance a single pipe flows plenty for 6

If I had a v6 I would do this just for the looks only. I hate the look of the single outlet.

Yeah I would love to do this for looks alone.. Wonder if the sound would stay the same?

If you were to go with a stock v8 exhaust I doubt there would be much sound change. An aftermarket system would be louder. Here's a link to borla system mated to a v6 wk2.

Not too bad sounds a little ricey for me, but yeah I agree the stock system would probably sound the same. Hmm maybe something to try down the road...

+1 I agree... A little ricey.

Though I would love to see a dyno comparison of a single exhaust to a dual. It may just be a V6, like the previous poster pointed out, but we are at nearly 300hp with these engines. Are you going to tell me that all the Mustangs, Camaro's and Trans Ams, didn't need a dual exhaust back in the day when they were making around 300 horsepower.

I'm not saying there would be more horsepower, but I wouldn't be so quick to rule it out, without verifying it.

I imagine if they actually put time in to make an aftermarket system it would probably sound decent.. No MDS to worry about either..

Default 2011 crew w/6cyl

I just bought my wife a 2011 crew (traded in her 300c) yeah ouch lost the Hemi. I like this post but not much the ricey sound, yeah its got a 290 hp rating but its weak if you ask me I dont think it will get much out of the dual exhaust but i like the looks. How do i get the cut out piece for the rear driver side? and are there mellower sounding systems? Also great post and video.

I think that lower piece is only like $80.. How similar is the Durango Hemi exhaust to the stock RT challenger exhaust? Anyone know?
