Default Auto Level with Weight Distribution Hitch

So I'm looking at buying a travel trailer and will be getting a weight distribution hitch and sway controll, probably the Equlizer. So do I connect the trailer and level it with the hitch, or should I drive in few circles first to get the Auto Level shocks to work first then apply the weigh distributuion hitch?

I'd hook it up the way you need to then let the truck auto level. Actually wouldn't the truck do nothing since your leveling it withy the wdh setup?

I have not pulled trailer with our Durango yet, but my guess is that you would connect the trailer, then level with hitch.

If the hitch was applied after the shocks pump up, the rear of vehicle will rise. Then the self-leveling shocks would pump back down. . . . In effect - -> time would be wasted to pump the shocks up first.

As suggested earlier, might want to ask the pros to be sure though.

I would just hook it up and use the weight distributing hitch the way it is intended to be used. If the vehicle is then level, the shocks won't need to do anything.
