Default Screw for installation

Can someone tell me what screw they used to install the sharkfin? I tried the two that came in the package, but they are not the right size. I have also gone to every hardware store and even the dodge dealer and no one has a screw for that. It appears that it is an M6 .75 thread, but I can't find it anywhere. I just wanted to see what everyone was using for theirs.

I used the bigger of the two screws and I was confused at first when it wouldn't screw in all the way. I screwed until it was tight (maybe 3-4 revolutions) then tested my radio and it was good. I was concerned at first as it didn't go in all the way. Does your bigger screw not go in at all?

It goes in a little, I just wanted to do it correctly, but if everyone has done this then I am willing to give it a try. Just based on how tough it will be to take it off if it does not work correctly, I wanted to try to get the correct screw. It is good news to hear that it is working well for you though that way because it makes me feel better about doing it. I have had it for over a week and it is bugging me because I want to install it.

You can read my post earlier in this thread. The screw is a 1/4 32 which you will never find. I dismantled the bee-sting to get the screw and it works great.

Talking Sharkfin Antenna

Cool looking antennas. A little bit pricey $81.00 US. ($69.00 antenna plus $12.00 shipping).

Send them an email with your year and vehicle make, and the paint code, and they will get you squared away. Thats what I did
