Had the same thing with my 2011 Crew with the Hemi. Vibration in the steering wheel right at 62mph. Vehicle had been on the lot for 6 + months and dealer did a balance of all 4 tires. Said if that didn't work they would replace all tires with new. The re-balance worked.

Hi all , I have been battling the same issue. had wheels balanced 5x and no luck. steering wheel shakes just going down the road. This seems to be the same scenario for all 2011 Durango Citadel 20" wheels. I recently heard that Dodge knows about it and says it is a characteristic off the vehicle. I would like to know who designed this in their design manual and what the purpose of the steering wheel shaking . This should never be a problem as it it the basic fundamental of driveability . real sad case for Dodge to put out junk like this . Anyone have any success is resolving this isue or heard of any bulletins please pass it on . Thx much

Hi All, I have the same issue. I can visually see the steering wheel vibrate at speeds. I also had my tires re-balanced about 5x and still have the issue . I am told that this is a normal characteristic of the vehicle which is total BS. Does anyone else who has this vibration have it this bad , where U can see the steering wheel vibrate as if U had warped rotors or is it a slight one. I have just about had it with the vibration - a new car should absolutely not have this . U would think that in 2012 they would understand that a vehicle driving down the road should go straight and not vibrate , this is the fundamentals of driveability. If anyone has had it repaired please let me know what was done. THX

You may have a tire or wheel that's out of round -- and thus can't really be balanced properly. Obviously this is not a characteristic of all these vehicles, no matter what tires/wheels they have on them. I would insist they put a new set of wheels and tires on the car to see if it goes away. If they don't want to fully address it, then you can pursue your state's lemon laws.

I have had a steering wheel vibration/wobble since day one. My serivce dept and Dodge Cares claim its the tires flat spotting. Of course the tires are not covered under warranty, and I have not gotten a response from Kumho on what they are going to do. I think this is BS as the vibration does not go away as the service man claimed. It stays there even through a 200km trip. Mine does appear to be more sensative to the road surface(ie smooth fresh asphault vs pebbly rougher asphault). I also have the 20 inch rims with Kuhmo tires.

I just bought at 2013 CREW AWD have had a vibration/shake at highway speeds since I bought it. The dealership balanced the tires with no improvement and they have road forced balanced the tires 3 times and the vibration/shake is still there. They had me make a claim to Chrysler now and am awaiting their reply. Extreamly frusterating buying a brand new vehicle that vibrates and they can't seem to figure out why! Any insight from anyone?

Hey Guys,
I have an 11 RT with the same problem since new. Now at 14K miles and four dealer visists later I am on my third set of tires and still shaking. I am convinced its the wheels but Chrysler won't swap them out. I am going to file for a lemon law buyback. Its a shame, we love the truck we just want it to stop shaking????
