Any input you want to give on new hood? Now is the time!
As some of you know I have been talking to the guys at RK Sport on a new hood for us. The design is now in the works. The current plan is to make a Durango version of the Charger hood they offer.
The Charger hood looks like this

I think this would be the best look myself for the Durango to flow with the rest of the body lines. Since this hood will be available for resale and not just me, RK wants to know what you guys think of this design and if this is what you have in mind for more of an SRT8 style or look for the Durango.
This Charger hood also is functional as well with direct air flow into the cold air intake. The K&N or Airaid to me will be best option for CAI to work with this hood.
Here is a pic of bottom of Charger hood to show opening in same location as to what the CAI would be.

All input is appreciated and will be shared with RK to make sure a hood is made that everyone will be happy with.

I gotta agree, I think the ram air on top brings unwanted attention and a look that I wouldn't want. I don't think I'm gonna buy a hood but if I did I'd go with the more sleek look of the charger hood.

Charger hood is around 50lbs so I assume this would be close
All hoods come in a gray gel coat ready for prep and paint
No clue as its not even made yet
and since I am not an official paying vendor on here I can not make any comments on price ect. So trying to play by rules with the forum so I do not get booted off here and just showing you guys some new products
However RK does not paint them inhouse
its always best to test fit hoods before painting them. Then if for some reason there is an issue with fitment you would not have wasted money on paint
