Yeah once u have an aftermarket exhaust on there u won't hear the cai!

Im working on trying to get volant to build an intake for the 3.6!

Thinking about doing this modification. Do you need to tune the computer after an aftermarket intake mod on this vehicle. Ive heard that you do with 3rd gen durangos.

no need to tune with an intake, which is good since there arent any tunes available yet!!

A tune is not required but you will need to disconnect battery for at least 30 minutes then let car idle for 15 minutes or so. Computer will reset itself to adjust to more air to a certain degree. A tune would squeeze out more possible power but as stated 3D Durangos have no tuning options at this time.

I have a 2011 R/T...what's the part number you purchased? Also...what's the HP benefit?

16167 or 161576 (depending on which filter you choose) ... I ordered the standard filter but New Level Motorsports sent me the upgraded powercore dry filter with mine!

What kind of HP or other gains are you supposed to get from this setup? Did you notice any difference? Also...what's it should like?

Throttle response feels improved, not sure of their horsepower claims but intake/exhaust are always the first steps in adding power for me!
