Default Day 10

Well dropped the car off at the dealer last monday to have them check the driver heated seat. (kept shutting off) Said it was a bad element. Also asked to check the passenger door alignment. Get a call last week that the D was at the body shop and they need to paint the whole passenger side. WTF clear coat cracked while trying to fix. Okay so i was told would be ready today I call and they tell me there still waiting for the window to come in. Window ? The body shop broke the passenger window and after they get the window need to wait for the guy to come tint it. . So day 10 I'm still in a rental @ 5$ a day.

YIKES! Sounds like you don't want to go to this dealer again.

Make sure the paint is absolutely flawless, because a good body shop can do that today even with clearcoat paints.

And why are you paying for a rental? If they screwed something up they owe you the rental at NO CHARGE!

sounds like they tried to seriously bend the door so it would align better. All they needed to do was move the latch a little inward. My jeep jeep had a similar problem 2012. I just unscrewed the latch and moved it. It has some play.

Dizney,

You need to call Chrysler Customer Care and let them know what is happening. They should take care of any rental charges for you and make sure the dealer fixes it correctly. Number below.

800-992-1997 U.S.
800-465-2001 Canada

Well got a call today that is should be ready by friday lets hope.
@ JRRF Enterprise says its a dom sec fee. Im going to talk that over with Dodge when i go pick up the car. the dealer is almost 2 hrs away.
@ CFUSION took it to a dodge dealer up here in north jersey they did all that. then told me to take it where i got it from that it was more the a simple adjustment.

Just so you know, they can't "make" you take it anywhere. You have a legal right to use any dealer you want. You can tell them you moved, or you work in this area, or whatever you like to establish in their (small) minds that they are now your dealer. And they actually do make money on the deal, even if it's warranty work.
