Default Rusty Wheel Hubs

Does anyone else have rusty wheel hubs on their Durago. The plastic wheel covers are bad enough, but having to see the rusty hubs every day bugs me even more.

that rust is on your hub and is unavoidable unless you want to paint your brakes its just the way that it is, i dont bothe painting mine because they get replaced every time i do brake pads anyway.

I agree, rotors rust because they are carbon steel. It won't hurt anything, almost all car rotors rust unless they are made of an exotic material. However, if it really bugs you.....prime and then paint them whatever color you like.

Yep. This is pretty standard stuff that you may not have noticed on your last car depending on the wheel design. Your best bet is to leave it alone least you get paint or any other substance on the actual rotor surface and cause more problems than you were looking for.

The rust on the brake rotors doesn't bother me thats bound to happen at some point. Its the hub that has rust on it, it just didn't seem to be painted properly. It seems like no one else has it this bad or hasn't noticed it. It can probably only be seen on with the Citadel wheels. Anyway I'll paint them when I get the chance.

Yeah the hubs are simple enuff to paint... MGP wants $245 shipped for a silver set of caliper covers engraved with either Mopar or R/T...not sure if its worth it or not!
