Question 2011 durango radio help?

any one know how to connect an amplified sub on an alpine amplified system the radio i presently have is the 730n premium gps nav. i would like to add an amplified bazooka thank you in advance mike

cheapest is hi/lo converter or if you want get the mygig lockpick and it comes with all the wiring needed to hookup system.

Technically the RCA output of the mygig is for a rear monitor. Can you use if for an amp-yes but its a very low voltage (not getting the best signal to the amp). Easiest way is to snag it after the factory amp using a hi-lo converter like stated above. you need signal somehow to the sub. with your setup you may be able to do it without the hi-lo and just wire your speaker signal to the bazooka.

There are NO other ways.

PAC makes adapters for different vehicles, to provide low level outputs for amps. A quick search found this, but there may be others as well.

I agree that pac makes great stuff, but for 150 and that unit makes the bass trebel and mid in-op you will need a good amp with adjustments or someo sort of cross over.

S simple cheat hi-lo works justa as good. or if you want to spend a little money go for the mtx re-q
