2011 durango radio help?
any one know how to connect an amplified sub on an alpine amplified system the radio i presently have is the 730n premium gps nav. i would like to add an amplified bazooka thank you in advance mike
Technically the RCA output of the mygig is for a rear monitor. Can you use if for an amp-yes but its a very low voltage (not getting the best signal to the amp). Easiest way is to snag it after the factory amp using a hi-lo converter like stated above. you need signal somehow to the sub. with your setup you may be able to do it without the hi-lo and just wire your speaker signal to the bazooka.
There are NO other ways.
PS. search the forum there are many discusions on this topic

PAC makes adapters for different vehicles, to provide low level outputs for amps. A quick search found this, but there may be others as well.

I agree that pac makes great stuff, but for 150 and that unit makes the bass trebel and mid in-op you will need a good amp with adjustments or someo sort of cross over.
S simple cheat hi-lo works justa as good. or if you want to spend a little money go for the mtx re-q
