After my dealer couldn't locate one to the specs I wanted I asked if he could order one from the factory, he then came back and told me all they are making is the Crew and there is only one more allocation for 2012 orders because they are going to start making 2013's in May, is this true?

 

order a 2013 then. Get the vehicle you want and dont let the dealership push you into a vehicle you dont want.

 

True if the plant is making 2013's I'll order one I was just trying to figure out if my dealer was just full of bs

 

If you have another local dealer maybe check them out. If no local dealers a simple phone call would work. Some dealers will not work with others so they will say no other ones in area when truthfully you can find one. Also, try build your own function on dodge.com. It will locate vehicle for you to the best it can. Just some options for you.

 

Try another dealer I doubt 2013 production will start before June or July

 

Thanks for all the info guys I've tried the Dodge site and finding a Citadel with second row captains is few and far between in Ohio guess I'll try another dealer if this one keeps jerking me around thanks again guys

 

there were a few ebay listings with captains chairs take a look there!

 

the captain chairs are a recently released option so it will take time for them to become more common. If the dealer isnt willing to work to get you one than they dont deserve your business.

 

I would just order one the way you want it and find another dealership.

 

I'm in the same boat trying to order a Citadel with captain's chairs although I've been told I can order them. I'm actually driving up to the dealership this weekend to do so.
