All:

OK, so these things are so fkng bright they could literally be used as headlights. In fact they almost drown out my HID lights. So taking a night shot was pointless because my little camera phone couldn't handle it.

I did take a day shot to give you an idea as well. PS, they look great! I did have one side already have some burnt out LEDs, not happy about that at all. But the shop I bought them from are working on an advanced Exchange for me. We'll see how that goes. The burnt LEDs in one headlight already sort of concerns me. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and see if the replacement and future issues subside.

Hey,
Looks good, can you PM me the website where you got them ?

I'd be interested in a dimmer version, hoping they offer something like that.

I guess it's safe for me to post the link now...

http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/orhalifordod.html

By the way, they don't offer a dimmer version. While uber bright, they look amazing in the day and night. My photos don't do them justice because it's not easy to see the ring of light. It's just my photo.

When I see pics of the plasma version they look dimmer though. The LEDs are bright as hell.

The pic below is what mine look like (the photo below isn't my truck), just think BRIGHTER and more intense even the daylight they're plenty bright to be seen.

The link U put up is not for pre-assembled housings that I could see. But I did actually find these.

http://www.oraclelights.com/automoti...--Sealed-Beams

If U go to the bottom of that screen & click on the pre-assembled housings again it has the durango 11-13 on there.

Might wanna do some Google researching of reviews of Oracle. They don't get the best reviews because they do cost so much and because they do commonly have led failure problems.

Default Dont even think about ordering just yet

Well guys, so much for recommending NEW LEVEL or ORACLE! They want me to remove the defective light and send it to them.

I request they do an advance exchange, hold my credit card so I'm not having the work done 3 TIMES! Because removal requires dropping the bumper and removing the grill.

I even offered to send them one of my original lights to Halo out. Then I would upon receipt of that light, install it and send them the defect.

They refused that too.

They New Level is simply sending my emails to Oracle. Oracle basically won't budge.

So let's recap...you send me pre-assembled halo infused lights (which I ordered entire assemblies so I wouldn't have to crack anything open possibly screwing up). One headlamp has blown out LEDs AFTER 2 FKING DAYS!! And you want me to drop the bumper, remove the light, put original light in, put truck together, send light back receive replacement light, drop bumper again, install. Man **** that.

I told New Level I've made a good faith effort they can either step in and work out an advance Exchange with me directly, or they can deal with American Express.

The other option is, you pay the cost to have the headlights removed, I'll return them you can just give me a refund. I'm totally pissed at this point. You send me some ****ed up garbage **** that doesn't even work and you're not willing to work with me!

So if you plan to buy, buy at your own risk.

By the way, not sure if it's due to my complaints or not, but they seemed to have removed the pre-assembled halo infused lights from the New Level site. But I wouldn't recommend buying from New Level or Oracle for that matter.

Keep you posted on the outcome. I work for a law firm, we practice all forms of law. If American Express won't back me, it's nothing to me or my attorneys to do the necessary work to get me some satisfaction. And hey it costs me nothing. So while most people might threaten that, I actually get to do it. It's not worth $500 for New Level to even entertain something so stupid.

My biggest beef is New Level should say as our valued customer, we'll order you a replacement, send it to you "advance exchange" we'll take the defective light back and deal with Oracle direct. That's your partner not mine. I'm your customer, not Oracle's. But hey, this is how people run businesses.

In defense the guy I've been emailing is going to reach out to the owner of New Level to see what options they have.

Keep you posted.

--- UPDATE ---

Well the guy at New Level called the owner, he stated the following

"After speaking with our owner we are going to just purchase you a new light and take the loss so you are given what you deserve and are entitled to.

We should have tracking in 2-3 days on that light, it takes Oracle 2-3 days to build them.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. "

Now that's good customer service. If I was them, I'd be pissed at Oracle for being so ****ty. I told them I'm still happy to send them the defective light once I get the replacement. So just to recap...

NEW LEVEL MOTORSPORTS = GREAT !!
ORACLE = SUCKS!!

I'm definitely on board. Funny I kept reading Oracle was the best. Not impressed. Crap product, crap customer service.

The problem isn't so much the productas mmuch as it is their willingness to work with a customer like you where something has failed and you have to take the headlight out, take it apart and ship it back. Then you either have to put it back together without it and assemble everything so you ride you ride or leave it apart and be without a ride for X amount of time.

NOT COOL

Spot on. They clearly have no consideration for time if someone's doing it themselves or money if someone is paying a shop to do it. I felt like I was being MORE than accommodating.

1. You can put a hold on my card.
2. Or I can send you my original factory to halo, then when you finish and send it back to me, I'll send you back the defect.

I have multiple cars, but this is my winter vehicle and I'm not about to take **** apart 3 times. Ridiculous. Like I'm really trying to get over on you by lying about a single light. Get real. I also sent photos of the burnt out LEDs (as best I could).

Lesson learned. My friend said halos always fail. But I figured that was the old CFL halos, I figured LED should last longer.

I'll be happy when the 2014 lights are hacked or knock off comes out I'd have preferred those anyway on my 2011. Anyway New Level is getting me taken care of, apparently they agree with me. All is well once again in the world of Durango modding. lol
