Question Driver side mirror and more

Hi guys
Im new to this forum. I just got myself 2012 Citadel V6. I had to wait 6 weeks to get it . I like the car but so far I had two issues with it. My navi froze on me today and I had to stop and shut off my car for few min to restart it. Also I hear strange rattling noise coming from somewhere in the front left side ( in the corner where the window connect with dashboard ) this only happens when I go over 50+ on the highway and it drives me crazy because I cant pint point it.

Few questions maybe you can help me with:

1.) I noticed that driver's side mirror has clear frame on the glass part. is this removable because it bothers me or is it some kind of sensor wrapped around the mirror ?

2.) ambient interior led light (console, door) - can I change the colors or blue is all it comes with ?

3.) Is it possible to add hitch to it ? ( not for towing - just for bikes ) and how much something like this might cost ?

Thanks guys !

Welcome to the forum.

There are many "interior rattle" threads here to review. See if one fits your problem a bit closer that another and that will likely send you an the right direction for a solution.

Yes of course a hitch can be added to your vehicle. My suggestion is to go to a quality truck shop in your area that handles these things. The dealer has been been know to do a crappy hitch add-on job because that isn't their core business. Selling cars is where their 95% focus is.

...Also I hear strange rattling noise coming from somewhere in the front left side...
This is the plastic trim piece behind your rearview mirror that covers the rain sensor. The plastic is thin and taps against the windshield. The windshield reflects the sound making it hard to find. A piece of felt or foam in the gap solves this in seconds.

I noticed that driver's side mirror has clear frame on the glass part...
The outline is the portion of the mirror that is electrochromic and tints itself to autodim the headlight shining on it.

2.) ambient interior led light (console, door) - can I change the colors or blue is all it comes with ?
BLUE is all it comes with; you would have to replace the LEDs yourself.

Thank you for your reply

Im not sure I know which plastic trim you are talking about.
Is it the one under chrome part of the mirror ? or is it the one mirror is attached to on the door ??
