Sooo I order my wheels through a buddies shop last week out in cali, they tell him we'll have the gloss black units in by early next week. I have them call today to see when they will be available for pick up and suddenly they won't be getting an order on for 4-5 weeks... Amazing how people jerk your chain for a sale! End of my rant!

I'm surprised you're not more angry I would be! Nothing like getting your hopes up only to get jerked around, I HATE THAT!

 

Now is that Factory Reproductions issue or did your buddy not get a time window and just made something up? I got my wheels from them in under a week. I want to say it took 3 business days and thats it. I had no issues with ordering at all. And even the tech guy sent me photos of the rims installed on his durango so I could see the fitment. If I were you I wouldnt be so quick to blame FR for this issue.

 

No no it was definately them misleading him to get a sale or simply misinformation on their end. If it was in stock like yours of course I would have them immediately that goes without saying. I'm glad to hear your experience was positive but when I'm promised one thing and shown another I get a bit frustrated!

 

But it may of been a mistake when your "buddy" called too. Might have asked for different size/color. But trust me they will be worth the wait!

 

No doubt i'm anxious as hell to get them on thus my frustration... I had already waited a week and was hopeful of having them on by next week now i have to wait!

 

Maybe they are just giving you time to rethink the whole gloss black wheel idea.

 

Lol wiseass... I think they will look great on maximum steel!
