Exclamation New Durango interior problem?

Bought a 2012 dodge durango rt awd with leather interior and a sunroof about 2 weeks ago. Sat in the passenger seat today and noticed, where my right foot is about toe level, there is some cut carpet that kinda bulges out and behind it is a bundle of wires. When I say cut, I mean I could probably shove my foot through it. Is this normal? I'm pretty sure it's not. Will the dealership fix this for me for free? Not sure what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My 2012 Citadel 's left quarter panel interior trim was damaged during production. You could see white marks where the plastic stretched as it was forced on and they replaced it under warranty. I also had my radio (730n RHR) replaced at around 200 miles because it was locking up when I use the HDD. The only metal or part of the floor that I can see on my Citadel is where the seats are bolted to the floor. Your cut carpet is clearly not normal. Have them look at it and I am sure they will fix it.
Good Luck

I have a 2012 SXT and notice the same thing.. I haven't had my car in for any service yet but I was going to mention it if/when I do have to go.

Here's a few pictures of what mine looks like.. I can push the wires under the plastic cover but they won't stya - and the carpet looks like its cut to short to tuck under and hold it in place.

That's bad. I am pretty sure they will fix it. In my case with the quarter panel trim, Chrysler made the dealership take photos because they had a few issues with quality control. My car was not inspected properly prior of leaving the factory and I believe is the same with yours. I just checked my Citadel and the carpet extend a couple of inches under the trim. . Have them replace it and stay on it until they do. Remember, be nice at first...
