Default BT Catch Can installed

Finally got the time to install my BT catch can. It wasn't too bad. The hardest parts were fabricating a bracket and the hose routing.

I made a bracket out of a 12" simple metal stock (in this case I used brass b/c the store was out of stainless and aluminum. I was too lazy to shop around). I got something with some thickness to it to be sure it could hold the weight.

I decided to mount it to the bracket in front of the fuse box. The seemed to be the easiest place for me.

Here are the photos:

Looks good, but you had to fab your own bracket? They don't provide one?

Yeah, Billet does not have a bracket for the Durango yet. Not sure why. Maybe its b/c there isn't a ready spot to mount it. I think they may be working with Dodge to come up with something.

I was able to use the little elbow and extension tube to clear the fuel runner, with trimming the supplied hose from BT.

Here is what you will find after about 2,000 miles:

And for those of you that don't know...this is totally normal for the HEMI engines; the catch can keeps all that crap out of the intake manifold.

You can use the 5.7 z-bracket they sell. I did and it mounts in the empty threaded hole on the block by the water pump. I'll post a pic later or you can use the install instructions on their website.

Thanks for the tip. I think I mod my design to use the OEM tube like you did.

SINISTERRT: Great find. Thanks for posting that. Is it better to mount the CC to the motor or is it okay to mount it to the fuse box like I did? I was sure to leave enough hose to compensate for the motor torquing.
