At this point I'm going to elect to hold out until Steve White motors gets back to me on their supposed "test project" and see what they say. I've a sneaking suspicion the part is the same but taking the time to have it mounted by a dealer is something I simply won't have until the end of the month. If anyone else travels the path less taken on this, please keep us informed on whether or not the figment is compatible.

Again, dope find CMil!
The guy on ebay contacted me back as well saying they were working on testing fitment so hopefully they get back to us soon... btw my name is Craig bro!

Loo, I know but I didn't want your first name blasted on the forums...some people are wary about that sort of thing. I'm Toby, it's a pleasure <shaking hands emoticon>, haha!

This would be a great looking upgrade.

Totally agreed, I can't wait to hear back and see if the fit is compatible, and the discount they're going to offer forum members for the "free" advertising!

Check out this huge steamy pile of crap-filled response from Chrysler on my request to verify this part's compatibility with a 3rd Gen "D"....
Dear :Toby

Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center.

Chrysler does not recommend modifying or altering any vehicle from the
original manufacturer's specifications; therefore, we are unable to
assist this customer with their request.

Thanks again for your email.

Sincerely,

Kevin

Needless to say, I was/am livid. My request for information had absolutely NOTHING to do with a modification or alteration to my vehicle outside the scope of replacement with a genuine OEM Mopar part. They did nothing to answer my question and I feel as if I was just pushed off to the side like someone that isn't important. An automotive manufacturer that was a hair's breadth away from bankruptcy only to be bailed out by my tax dollars should take a bit more time to perform some research on my question and answer my query in a way that is indicative of an organization that gives a flying ***bleep*** about a customer that dropped a significant chunk of income on one of their products. I sincerely hope that some representative from Chrsyler/Dodge/Jeep/whatever is reading this thread and can do something to squelch my obvious frustrations over this. If I could throw around profanity in this forum, my Navy Sailor talk would be running rampant...see above for the lamest response EVER!!!

Looks like we will just have to wait for Steve White to provide some insight...ugh!

Well, here's a non-bs answer from Steve White motors everyone...

Yes, this wheel will work for 11-12 Durango and Grand Cherokee. We have test fit today. Thank you for shopping with us.

Yee haw, let the orders begin. I've inquired as to the discount available to forum members so as soon as that info is provided I will post it here.

Looks like we're good to go with this part...I'm stoked!
