Default washing a citadale

The Citadale comes with the keyless entry. I noticed when washing it, and spraying around the handles, that the car kept opening.

Is the sense to open the door a motion sensor, or an electrical circuit sensor. Anyone know how it works or most importantly to keep the car from flashing all the time?

I guess what I can do is just lock the car and take the key out of my pocket when washing the car.

You don't need to lock the car, just don't put the key in your pocket.

Default What's it going to hurt

I wouldn't worry about it. You could lock and unlock those doors all day and still have enough juice in the battery to start your engine.

As for your question about how they work, they sense your touch electrically - no motion sensor.
