My Borla sounds deeper than stock, refined growl, no drone....perfect. I have a vid on here somewhere

 

Any Citadel owners try replacing their rear mufflers with Gibson 55142S? RT owners have and say it sounds real nice, but since the RT exhaust probably has a louder main muffler, I wonder how the Gibsons work with the quieter Citadel muffler.

 

If you guys look at the 2011 videos from Dodge on youtube, one of them talks about the difference in sound for the R/T. They don't go into details on what the difference is but I remember them saying it does have more growl to it. To me it sounds more like a Ferrari/Lambo but I think its more of an empty sound than a growl but I'm sure it different in person. I'd be interested in knowing why the change and no HP gain is that case, other than the stock exhaust is already effectively moving the gasses out as fast or the same as the R/T exhaust. Maybe there is a HP difference and they just didn't want to publish it.
