I would like to see this hood as well. I had a custom functional ram ar hood made for my old F-150, it does take time to create them accurately. Nobody wants to have uneven gapping down your fender or uneven sit across the front. It is all the little details when working with fiberglass that takes the time. If he is doing molds, he is having to make this hood four times as well (factory mold, fiberglass piece from the mold to build off of, mold of custom hood, made a hood from the mold). So, just be patient and things will work out.

well...from what i understand by talking with Chad....he's not sure the investment in the hood will pay off. Like stated above...theres a lot of cost in producing a hood. The first is the time spent to design and build the custom hood. Next is the mold process. Molds are expensive if done correctly. It a pretty big investment that he's not sure he can make back....much less make a profit.

Definately understandable given the short life cycle of the rango!

So does that mean he hasn't started the project yet or is he partway through and having second thoughts?
