i grabbed mine at the flashlight in the rear left. I used this signal to trigger a relay so it doesnt put any current draw on the vehicles circuit.

That harness is way is not necessary. a simple hi-low converter is all you need.

I added a fused to a switched power source in the factory fuse box. I believe it was the radio fuse

With this hu will you be able to keep your steering wheel controls for music and Bluetooth? Will the iPod hookup in the center console still work?

SW controls
YEs as long as you add a pac audio swi-rc or Metra ASWC
I would only use the Metra ASWC on a Pioneer. Kenwood you still need to program them

BT will need to add the aftermarket MIC that comes with the radio

No on the ipod mount in console.

Kenwood has a harness coming late this year that will allow us all to change the radio and retain all stock features.

I installed an amp today and used the "power antenna" wire according to the Jeep forum think it was grey and orange. I almost think the amp fires when I open the door and my "dash info center" lights up. I'll keep an eye on it and may end up changing it. Otherwise install was pretty easy Installed the amp under the pass front seat. If you do that just make sure to leave enough slack in the cables to remove the door to access the battery. I used a loca25 to hookup to the Factory stereo and a PAC lc1 to control the bass.
